M _ METAMERISM IN PRINTING
I first came across METAMERISM in printing when I used an Epson A3 printer. If you don't do your own printing or just print in colour, forget about it. If my memory is correct, the Epson A3 printer had a special mono cartridge to help reduce METAMERISM when producing monochrome prints.
TOP TIP I noticed this effect mainly in monochrome prints, about 1 in 20. It was not a major problem and switching inks did help. I sometimes noticed the effect when viewing a print at a funny angle or in special lighting conditions but most folk won't even notice it.
